Matt Hall, CEO, Human Care Systems (HCS). Matt founded HCS in 2008 to deliver systematic, evidence-driven solutions to improve real world health outcomes. HCS provides complete therapy support solutions to pharmaceutical companies globally. Prior to founding HCS, Matt co-founded the Kerdan Group, a biopharma and life science consulting firm. Matt has also run a healthcare information business, worked in venture capital and as a consultant at Bain & Company. He has lived and worked in Europe, Japan, South Africa and South Korea. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Political Economy from Williams College.
Thom is President at Human Care Systems, where he leads interdisciplinary teams to satisfy the vision and business objectives of Human Care Systems’ clients and manages development of behavior-science based products and services. Prior to joining Human Care Systems, Thom was a Partner at the Kerdan Group, a biopharma and life science consulting firm, where he helped biotech and pharmaceutical clients with drug development strategies in diabetes, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, oncology, central nervous system and inflammatory diseases. Thom has also worked for Monitor Company in the US and Europe. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Nancy Santilli is a Life Science Executive with a unique General Management background that blends her foundational clinical experience with strategic industry leadership (pharmaceutical, medical devices, practice management, EMR). She has an established track record of identifying new strategic opportunities, launching new products, building and supporting scientific and clinical platforms, and contributing to overall corporate growth.
Nancy was with Endo Health Solutions for more than nine years, holding roles that include multiple VP positions in Scientific Engagement, Scientific Affairs, Corporate Special Projects, Marketing Science, Strategic Planning, Commercial Strategy and Portfolio Planning, and Managed Markets. Prior to Endo, she was a Senior Director at Élan Pharmaceuticals in Global New Product Planning and Strategic Marketing, after joining the firm as an Associate Director in Marketing responsible for launching 4 CNS products. Earlier in her career, Ms. Santilli was with the University of Virginia School Of Medicine as an Associate Professor and the Associate Director, Comprehensive Epilepsy Program.
Sylvain is a Global Managing Director at Human Care Systems, where he leads commercial and delivery activities across the region. Prior to joining HCS, Sylvain was Director of the Asia-Pacific region for a healthcare consultancy, and prior to that he headed the UK healthcare Business Unit of the company. Sylvain holds a Master of Science in Management and speaks English, French, and Spanish fluently.
Jared is Vice President of Technology and Data Analytics at Human Care Systems, overseeing all technology operations including the development and delivery of technology solutions both internally and with customers. Jared has over a decade of experience with the implementation and support of IT solutions in highly regulated industries such as government tax and revenue, education, and healthcare. Prior to joining HCS, Jared has held positions in data and technology management at athenahealth and Harvard University and spent 8 years as an IT consultant. Jared received his MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and his BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon.
After graduating in Biochemistry from France’s AgroParisTech (leading engineering School in Life Sciences), Marc spent 15 years in Healthcare consultancy, in various positions mainly aiming at setting up, developing and structuring New Businesses Internationally. His experience encompasses France, UK, Germany, Middle East, and to a lesser extent Asia and Latin America. He has a deep knowledge of the pharma industry globally, but also of the MedTech, Biotech and Private Equity industries.
As a Franchise Leader Bhavani is responsible for driving growth and managing commercial operations of HCS’s key clients on the east coast. Bhavani has extensive strategy and operations experience in the healthcare space and has worked globally across Pharma, Biotech, Digital Health and Consumer Health. Prior to HCS, she was part of the Global Strategy Group at Novartis Consumer Health. Bhavani has an MBA from Harvard Business School and B.A. in Biochemistry and Economics from Smith College.
